Hola! This post is kind of a meta post just to display the main Silverlight intro, and shouldn’t really been seen. For the skinny on it, I use a sticky post to set the header for the homepage, so when I want to change up the message I can just create a new post with the link to a new piece of Silverlight, Flash, movie, image or whatever.

The Silverlight piece is one lightweight loader xap containing the navigation, which loads controls on demand from a heavier, separate xap which saves on download times.

It uses Deepzoom, pixel shaders, custom Silverlight control styles, animations and video players. When Silverlight 4 comes out, I’ll turn it into an optional chromeless Out Of Browser app and include Flash in a hosted web browser.
