Ah, iKeyring.com. A pet project that my old housemate and I started around 2004, when we were sitting in a pub trying to work out how to make some cash on the side with virtually no start up money. Both of us being designers, and me with dev skills, we decided to use the open source php/mysql shopping cart, Zen Cart.
The Zen Cart codebase is pretty tricky to work with and the code it renders is pretty poor, but with a ton of hacks, modules, CSS and jQuery and a dash of design flair, I got the site up and running and it has been profitable ever since.
